Rehoboth Town Events 4th annual Holiday Decorating Contest

Complete Google form (scan QR code on flyer) or email rehobothtownevents@gmail.com by December 12th to be entered into the contest. Judging will occur between December 15-19th.

Guidelines and Rules

For entry fee please VENMO $10 to @Kelli-T-1 (Kelli Trexler). Proceeds go to participant prizes and future events for the town. If Venmo is an issue email the above address.

Judging will be done for EXTERIOR decorations only, including visible window displays. Only decorations located on the street side of the house will be judged. Note that the judges may be entering the yard to photograph and evaluate your displays. We will notify you the evening we plan to come and judge.

Participants should ensure that all lights and animation are activated and decorations are in place at the time of judging.

Live animals or political comments are not allowed.

Participants agree to have one or more photos taken of their decorations to be posted to social media and to be published in the Rehoboth Reporter. Participants agree that there will be no compensation of any kind for said posting or publication.

The winning displays will be announced on social media. Prizes will be delivered to your homes. Be creative and have fun!!

Category descriptions

Most Creative Award- This home displays a range of artfully designed displays. Points given for visual features that include cohesive displays, imaginative design, and hand-made components.

Traditional Award- Classic holiday display. This home can include secular or non-secular displays. Points given for things like hand-crafted.
components, a tasteful design and a consistent theme featuring lights, greenery, wreaths and garlands

Over The Top (Clark W. Griswold) Award- Exactly what it says. What would Clark W Griswold do? Like in the movie, this is the home that has a really impressive display of lights, animations and sound effects. Points given to OVERKILL!
