Dog Licenses

All dogs in Rehoboth must be licensed annually with the Town. Licenses are only good until the 31st of March each year.

Massachusetts General Law requires that all dogs over six months of age be licensed. The Town Clerk's Office assigns the dog licenses for the Town of Rehoboth. Proof of a current rabies vaccination certificate (not a rabies tag) is required to license your dog(s).

License Fees:

  • (Female) Spayed / (Male) Neutered - $10.00
  • (Female) Unspayed / (Male) Unneutered - $20.00
  • Late Fee - imposed on any licenses issued after May 31st at 11:59 pm - $15.00

Senior Citizens can license their dog(s) without paying the fee.

If you have newly adopted a dog or puppy, this would not apply when licensing your new addition to your family.
