Reminder - Upcoming April 5, 2022 Annual Town Election

The Annual Town Election for the Town of Rehoboth will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 with the polls open from 7:00AM to 8:00PM. – All four precinct locations will be voting at one centralized polling location: Francis Farm Community Complex (27 Francis Farm Road) – Museum building.  If you would like to review the facility and layout of the polling location, please refer to the election mailer sent out in February for the March 5th and April 5th Elections or visit the Town Website at:  https://www.rehobothma.gov/home/news/rehoboth-changes-its-centralized-polling-location-francis-farm-community-center-museum - Click on "Images of Francis Farn Polling Location - Room Set-Up and Site Accessibility" in the Attachments section on the bottom of the page.

Positions to be elected on the ballot for 2022 are Moderator (one for 1 year), Board of Selectmen (one position for 3 years), Assessor (one for 3 years), School Committee (one for 3 years), Housing Authority (one for two years), Planning Board (two for 5 years and one for one year), Park Commission (one for 5 years), Constable (three for 3 years) and Water Commissioner (two for 3 years).

Candidates running for office on the upcoming April 5, 2022 Annual Town Election are Incumbent Bill Cute-Moderator, Incumbent Skip Vadnais-Selectman, Stephen Green-Assessor, Incumbents Ken Abrams, Bill Dalpe and Mike Deignan-Constable (3-positions available), Joe Collins and Bill Costa for Housing Authority (1-position available), Jeff Reber for School Committee, Mary “Lissa” Solas for Park Commission, Lynne Ferreira, Stacy Haskell and Incumbent Jake Kramer for Planning Board-5-year term (2-positions available); Lenny Mills, Jr. for Planning Board-1-year term and Incumbent Joe Nunes for Water Commissioner along with Bill Costa, Art Gareau and Katy Rourke Wilson also for Water Commissioner-3 year term (2-positions available)

The final voter registration date, to be eligible to vote in the Annual Town Election, was Wednesday, March 16th from 8 AM to 8 PM at the Town Clerk’s Office.  To check your voter registration status, please go to: https://www.sec.state.ma.us/VoterRegistrationSearch/MyVoterRegStatus.aspx  or call the Town Clerk's Office.

Absentee Ballot Requests

Applications for absentee ballots were available as of January 4th and may be obtained from the Town Clerk’s Office or online @ https://www.sec.state.ma.us/ele/elepdf/absentee/English-Absentee-Ballot-Application.pdf or below as an attachment.   There are also two copies of absentee ballot requests in the March 5th & April 5th election mailer (front and back covers).  An absentee ballot may only be obtained by written request and with the voter’s original signature.  
 
Filing deadline to apply for a mailed absentee ballot request will be 5:00 PM on the fourth (4) business day before Election Day:
