REED STREET BRIDGE - STREET CLOSING ESTIMATED DATE 2/22/2022

Complete replacement of the Reed Street Bridge over the Palmer River. Work includes the demolition of the existing superstructure and substructure and construction of a new single span prestressed concrete deck beam bridge supported by a micropile foundation. Work also includes roadway work at the bridge approaches, bridge riprap protection system, guardrail, and utility work.
Description of Traffic Management: Various traffic management plans/lane closures will be utilized as needed for start-up operations until the bridge is closed, at which point a detour will be utilized until the bridge can be reopened to traffic. Once the bridge is reopened, various traffic management plans/lane closures will again be used until the project is complete.
Estimated Duration of work: Project has a completion date of 6/24/2023
