THERE HAS RECENTLY BEEN A DOMESTIC CAT IN REHOBOTH THAT TESTED POSITIVE FOR RABIES, FORCING ALL THOSE WHO HAD CONTACT TO RECIEVE RABIES SHOTS. RABIES IS A DEADLY DISEASE TO PETS AND PEOPLE WHEN NOT TAKEN SERIOUSLY.

The Rehoboth Animal Shelter is located at 148 Peck Street, behind the Town Office. If you are missing a pet, or have found a lost pet, please call the Animal Control Officer at (508) 252-5421. If you get the answering machine, leave a message. Or, if it is an emergency, call the police at (508) 252-3722.
