History

Memorial Site

The Town of Rehoboth Veterans Memorial Committee was formed over 10 years ago to find a suitable site for a memorial to honor those veterns whom have served our town and country.  In 2012, after considering numerous sites, the committee met with the Parks Commission to consider placing the memorial on Redway Plain.  The Parks Commission determined our plans and suggested location were a perfect match and unanimously supported our proposal. The Committee raised approximately $150,000 in sale of custom bricks, cash donations and in kind service donations.  The Committee, having completed its mission, dissolved as a June 30, 2018.
