Historical Commission
It is the mission of the Rehoboth Historical Commission to identify and protect important historical assets within the town, to educate the public, and to encourage interest in local history and historic preservation.
The commission has marked more than two dozen historical sites throughout Rehoboth, and oversees the Hornbine School, Anawan Rock, and Liberty Tree Park. To view and download the "Guide to Historic Sites" online, please click on the image below. Thank you!

The Historical Commission typically meets September through June on the second Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm. The monthly meetings are held at Francis Farm (former Arcade Building), located at 27 Francis Farm Road unless otherwise noted on the agenda for the upcoming meeting. From time to time special meetings are held on location at the site to be discussed or assessed. The Historical Commission meetings are open to the public.
