Municipal Building Study Committee

New building study committee created fall 2018

Municipal Building Study Committee

The Board of Selectmen established Rehoboth’s new Municipal Building Study Committee in fall 2018. The Selectmen discussed the committee with its new members at the BOS Meeting of August 20, 2018, after which the group convened for a first meeting. James Muri charged the Committee. The Committee is to serve as an executive committee that oversees the building project as a whole. Plans, once developed, will go before town meeting for approval. The membership combines stakeholders in the various building plans and expert citizens.

The new Municipal Building Study Committee is exploring plans that are different in the building structures and is considering a variety of ways in which plans might be presented for town action. The Committee strives for maximum transparency and visibility as it pursues its work. Business and workshop meetings are open to the public, and agendas and approved minutes will be posted on this site. The Committee looks forward to presenting progress reports to the public.

The record of the previous effort is preserved in this website.  You may view by clicking on the link to the left entitled:  "Municipal Complex Study Committee-Original Homepage".
