The Ambulance Committee, Inc. is a group of citizens who are responsible for maintaining the ambulance and providing training required by State law to insure that all ambulance attendants are certified Emergency Medical Technicians. The town owns two ambulances certified by the state which are housed at the Public Safety Building on Anawan Street. The ambulances are financed through third party payments and by donations from those serviced by the ambulance.
